Race #5 Recap
May 31, 2011

Despite 9°C rain and winds gusting up to 70km/hr, 112 racers put on a brave face for our last and final race of the 2011 Gord's Duathlon in the Park Series.

Some of the comments we heard after the race were "this was the most fun out of all the 5 races" if you can believe it! Thanks to our volunteers we managed to put on a solid race from start to finish. Kevin Miller stated that in his 20+ years in the sport "It was the most difficult conditions I've ever seen for a triathlon/duathlon". We're pleased everyone finished safe and sound, and we're so pleased with those who came out to race, spectac and/or volunteer.
