Manitoba’s Premier Duathlon Series
Our annual event now consists of 3 races held on Tuesdays May 13, 20 & 27 evenings. This race series has been held annually at Birds Hill Park since 1983 and provides a fun and friendly atmosphere for thousands who come out to experience the exhilaration and challenge associated with this tremendous event.
*NEW* - Adult Long Duathlon will be added for 2025.
Tikes and Trikes (3-5):
50 m run, 40 m bike, 40 m run
Kids of Steel Short (6-11):
200 m run, 2 km bike, 400 m run
Kids of Steel Long (12-15):
400 m run, 13 km bike, 2 km run
Adult Short (16+):
2 km run, 13 km bike, 2 km run
Adult Long (16+):
2 km run, 13 km bike, 4 km run
Walk up registration - $60, $30 (early bird) for online registration!!!
(Online registration closes 11:00 pm on the Saturday before each race day). No refunds
When you arrive proceed to race kit pickup for bib and timing chip.
Setup your bike in the transition area and wait for the race meeting.
Transition is open 5pm to 6:15pm
Pre-race meeting at 6:30pm
May 13, 20, & 27 Races take place at the East Beach Parking Lot at Birds Hill Park, with the following schedule for each evening:
5:00 pm – Transition & Kit Pick-up Open
6:15 pm – Transition & Kit Pick-up Close
6:30 pm – Pre-Race Meeting for all distances
6:45 pm – Tikes & Trikes
6:55 pm – Kids Short Race Begins
7:15 pm – Adult Short Event Begins
7:16 pm – Adult Long Event Begins
7:18 pm – Kids Long Race Begins
