2021 WTC Virtual Duathlon in the Park
When & Where Do I Race?
Rather than the customary Tuesday nights in May, there are four race weeks:
Week 1: May 3 – 9
Week 2: May 10 – 16
Week 3: May 17 – 23
Week 1: May 24-30
How Much Does it Cost?
The cost is $25 for the series.
What are the Race Distances?
KOS Long (ages 12 – 15)
Adult Short (ages 16+)
Adult Long (ages 18+)
*Ages are as of December 31, 2021
Who Can Register?
You must be 12 or older as of December 31, 2021 to register. There is no restriction on place of residence.
How Do I Enter my Times/Results?
Send your name, the date of your race, total elapsed time, and splits if you have them, to email@example.com.
Results will be posted on the Triathlon Manitoba website. Link coming soon.

You could win a $1,349.99 Saris H3 Direct Drive Smart Trainer (FOB Winnipeg) supplied by Woodcock Cycle Works.
The grand prize will be a random draw on Tuesday, June 1. Racers have one entry in the draw for every time they submitted (a maximum of one per week for four weeks). The winner will be contacted by the race director.
On the Tuesday following each race week there will be a random draw. Racers who submitted a time for the previous week will have one entry in the draw.
The prizes are $25 gift cards from Woodcock Cycle Works and City Park Runners. There will be 4 cards drawn for each 25 racers in each race. For example, if there are 110 racers, 16 cards will be awarded. The cards will be mailed to winners.
All entrants in the Virtual Duathlon in the Park 2021 have third party liability insurance coverage while they are participating in the race. Entrants in the Virtual Duathlon in the Park 2021 who are a Triathlon Manitoba member also have sport accident insurance coverage while they are participating in the race.
If an entrant has an accident while participating in the race, they should obtain as much information as practicable from any other parties involved or who witnessed it and email it, along with their name and phone number, to firstname.lastname@example.org and email@example.com. This must be done promptly to allow Triathlon Manitoba to meet the insurer’s accident reporting deadlines.
